The Association of Researchers in Construction Management was formed in 1984. While initially a UK organisation, and still based in the UK, it has now grown to be a true international community of those involved in research in our built environment
Each year we run a major conference in the UK to explore current advances in construction management research. The proceedings and papers from these conferences are provided open access in CM Abstracts. Those who are actively engaged in research connected with this field are warmly welcomed, whether they are presenting papers or just attending.
The conference is an event where ideas are exchanged, acquaintances renewed, new friendships made and papers are presented. It is truly international and since 2004 we have welcomed delegates from 47 separate countries:

In 2017, the 33rd Annual Conference will be held in Cambridge, UK at Fitzwilliam College between Monday 4th and Wednesday 6th September 2017.
